Construction of Adirondack Chair
Construction of 25 Adirondack Rocking Chairs in process and the staging before the delivery of the Adirondack Rocking Chairs purchased by McKinney Main Street.
First lumber is selected and evaluated for quality. The chair parts are cut, sanded, rounded then polished and placed in staging bins prior to the construction process.
Chair parts are then selected from the staging bins for the construction of one chair. The bases, seat slats and front legs are constructed first, followed with the construction of the back assembly. The back is fastened to the base and seat slats. The arms rests, arm supports and back supports are attached.
Adirondack Chairs were constructed first to maximize the staging area. The chairs can be safely stacked four tall.
After all the chairs were complete and the delivery scheduled; the rocker bases were attached to the Adirondack Chair then loaded on the trailer and in the tuck for delivery to the City of McKinney for McKinney Main Street.
